Dutch nursery Fleuren

We represent Dutch nursery Fleurenit is one of the largest nurseries in terms of the number of sweet cherry varieties in Europe. It is a family company in third generation; the nursery is over 90 years old.  The first “knip-tree” was invented by Karel Fleuren at the end of the 1970.

early, good pollen; self-fertile, pollinators are B. Hardy, B. Louis, Concorde, Comice, Gieser Wildeman, Tr. de Vienne, Verdi.

Productivity
early, regular and very good; thinning is necessary.

Picking season
from second week or September; fruits blow off easily.

Shape
nice; medium to good caliber (75 mm), quite homogeneous, green, later green-yellow; strong russeting.

Quality
medium taste, good aroma, juicy and sweet; medium hard skin.

Preservation
in cold store until the end of February. In ULO-cell till begin of May; long shelflife.

Early, triploid, self intolerant. Pollinators Beurré Hardy, Conference, Triomphe de Vienne.

Early, good and regular. While the blossom is early there is some chance for nightly frost.

Very moderate tasty handpear, purple and coarse, juicy and moderate sweet.
